Dean Vegas is an internationally acclaimed artist
and has performed in Australia, Las Vegas, Canada, Indonesia, Bali,
and Tonga. Dean also plays the part of Elvis in the Warner Brothers'
movie, "Hollywood on the Gold Coast."
Dean placed 1st in the Professional Category when he competed
against almost 100 of America's and Canada's best Elvis®
Impersonators in July, 2000, at the Collingwood Elvis convention in
Canada (the World's biggest Elvis Convention).
For Dean Vegas, performing as Elvis has fulfilled a long-held dream.
Dean had watched every movie that Elvis starred in by the time he
was 12 years old.
"I idolized Elvis. He had everything - looks, personality, style,
charisma, and he could sing, dance and act. He had his own style. He
was an innovator. Like John Lennon said, 'Before Elvis, there was
nothing.' I've always agreed with that."
The Australian Elvis Tribute Show spans Elvis' 20+ year career.
Throughout the performance, Dean captivates the audience by his
antics, sense of humor and his outrageous personality in stage. Dean
adds to the atmosphere by involving the audience in the show.
