It all started in Gotland Sweden 1987...Ingemar Wallen from the famous group the "Boppers" was entertaining in Visby's favorite restaurant and Mike got to sing a song for the audience. It was a success. Mike had found his calling and the wheels started spinning. He got booked by radio and for national TV shows, etc. Ingmar Bergman's photographer Arne Karlsson made a rock video and Big Mike even ended up on the billboard charts. Big Mike went on tour. His artist name was from the beginning "Bro Elvis®." After several shows in and outside Europe, Mike thought that he needed to change his artist name. He got help from the Swedish No 1 DJ and TV:4's Peter Siepen, who gave him the new artist name "Big Mike." For some time, Big Mike was the national newspaper's favorite and they wrote, "Big Mike - the Swedish King of Rock."
Big Mike has toured Sweden, Norway, Germany, Denmark, Finland, USA, Asia, Spain, and Turkey. He has done over 1000 shows since 1987. He has hosted many TV shows and performed at the Grand Ole Opry and on Beale Street in Memphis, TN.
