Kevin was born in
Monroe, Louisiana and raised in Natchez, MS. With a career spanning two
decades, he began honing his musical abilities at an early age. He locked
himself in his bedroom for hours each day trying to sound as close to such
famous recording artists as George Jones, Hank Williams, Marty Robbins,
Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly, and, of course, the King of Rock and Roll. Kevin
sometimes even skipped school and hid out in the woods working on his
yodel and Presley "quiver." Winning his first talent contest at the age of
10 at the Natchez, MS, territory fairgrounds performing a "Tribute to
Elvis®" proved to be the start of a lasting career. By age 14, Kevin was
performing in various talent competitions all over the South. |
| Turning 15, Kevin auditioned for a local
band called Ozone, which later became known all over the South as
Fairchild. At 16, Kevin was becoming a seasoned performer with a room full
of trophies, awards, and ribbons. His music career became the focal point
of his life - so much so that he quit school, worked part-time at a pizza
place and played music on the weekends. After winning a Chicago Daily Plaza National Talent Search at 18, Kevin worked on polishing his art of impressions in the hopes of taking his act on the road. His feel for country music, couples with his electrifying performances, quickly established hi as an "up and coming rising star" in country music. Kevin's "Tribute to the Stars" show is packed with excitement and versatility. |

| He has opened for Marty Stewart, Tracy Lawrence and Michael Twitty. Kevin is a 7-time finalist in the world's largest Elvis® Impersonator Contest, "Images of the King" held in Memphis, TN. Kevin performed at the 4th Annual Elvis® Presley Festival in Tupelo, MS, at Milam elementary school (the school Elvis® attended) on June 1, 2002. | |
