Lou Vuto has been performing his Salute To Elvis® since 1978, where he won 1st Place in his High School Talent Show. Since then he has been causing "no small stir" among many Presley fans. Even those who attend Lou's show not knowing much about Elvis®, leave as Elvis® fans. Vuto, a fan himself, portrays Elvis® in a very complimentary light, reliving the lean, mean electrifying Elvis® Presley Show. Vuto has the charisma, the stage presence, the personality and the persona to communicate that "Presley Magic." Vuto has worked with many of Elvis®' friends and band members who are truly impressed with his salute to someone they knew very well. |
| Charlie Hodge
worked on stage with Elvis® for 17 years and with Lou for 8 years, and is
a true admirer of Vuto's interpretation. "Lou does a first class
tribute to Elvis®, with a perfect combination of looks, voice, moves and
most of all humility," says Hodge. Lou has also worked with J.D. Sumner and The Stamps Quartet, who worked on stage with Presley from 1971 - 1977. They also have spoken very highly of Lou and his show. Vuto had the opportunity to sing with The Jordanaires Quartet, Presley's Quartet in the 1950s and 1960s, and has had the privilege to meet people like D.J. Fontana, Kathy Westmoreland, Joe Esposito, Elvis®' Uncle Vestor and even the late Col. Parker, Elvis®' Manager. Lou has won various impersonator contests across the United States and also placed as one of the top Impersonators internationally. Vuto performs nightly at his own theater in Gatlinburg, Tennessee 11 months out of the year. People from across the country and around the world have enjoyed Lou's Salute to Elvis®.
