Steve loved music at a very
young age listening to his parent's and neighbors' records (Elvis®, of
course!). He has been playing the accordion since the age of 10 and taught
himself to play the guitar and drums.
His Elvis® career didn't start until 1992 when a friend signed him up to sing an Elvis® song at a karaoke bar. Reluctantly (and with the help of a few beers), Steve sang publicly for the first time in his life. To make a long story short, he has come a long way since that night. Steve has been singing and doing his "Elvis® thing" ever since. |
| Steve strives to be
authentic with his Elvis® Tribute. Although he has won his share of
contests, he prefers not to compete - he just performs to have fun. You
can see Steve in "Almost Elvis®" - the movie. Steve is currently traveling throughout the US with a Rock and Roll show. They do numerous casinos, nightclubs, cruises, corporate and private events with a full band or sound system. Steve Sogura is truly a natural talent. His wonderful tribute comes from listening to and watching Elvis® all his life. |
