Tony Rocker was born in
Milwaukee, WI and now lives in Cottage Grove, WI. Tony has been an
Elvis®
fan all of his life, inspired by his mother’s love for the King. Tony
has been performing on a regular basis since the 1980’s playing and
singing in various bands that specialize in music from the ‘50s-‘70s.
Tony started out playing guitar and later switched to being a drummer as
well as lead singer in the bands he plays in. Tony always sang Elvis®
songs with these bands, and started performing as Elvis® in the summer of
2002. Tony now performs his own shows as an Elvis® Tribute Artist and he does shows backed up by the six piece Elvis® Tribute Band, "The Comeback Special". Tony won first place at the Elvis® Birthday Bash contest in Madison, WI in January of 2003. In January of 2004, Tony won 3rd place at the Midwest Tribute to the King Contest in Springfield, IL. |
| Tony has performed his own
shows at clubs, restaurants, and private parties in the Midwest. He also
has performed with the Comeback Special band as Elvis® for several large
festivals, shows and casinos. Tony has a very strong voice that really captures an audience’s attention. Tony also has a very strong natural resemblance to Elvis®. Tony puts his heart and soul into every performance and always strives to do his best for every show. Tony truly enjoys performing and enjoys getting to know his fans that come out to see his performances. Tony keeps a very busy schedule, but does so because of his love for entertaining. |
